Oregon State Police production, PR27478

The file Oregon State Police built on him, obtained under public records request PR27478 after the agency answered the request the same day with "no records responsive to your request," printed the withheld dispatch record inside its own records section ten days later, held it behind a fee he could not pay, and released it only after a petition to the Oregon Attorney General. It documents the chain. An OPRD emergency manager forwarded his letters to an OSP captain because he had begun copying the Governor and the Director. A threat assessment was ordered the next morning. The detective assigned to it read the website and wrote that nothing was standing out to him. Four days after that a second detective was told they could talk about heading down there, a DOJ fusion center analyst entered a characterization of him into a state intelligence system, a Forest Service special agent delivered a hunting-map waypoint on the work center where he lives, and three men drove through a locked federal gate on the anniversary of his dismissal. Four records the file itself names are absent from it, including the body-worn camera video of the encounter.

USFS Host/Caretaker Incident Report

His own report to the Siuslaw National Forest, filed three days after three men came through the gate. He checked direct threat, verbal harassment, and intimidation. The narrative records that they unlocked the gate and pushed through it, that the gate is posted with restricted access signage citing 36 CFR 261.9(a), that they did not positively identify their agency, that they said they were concerned about what he was doing online, and that they repeatedly told him he was not in trouble after he said he would not speak to them without an attorney. He photographed them leaving and one license plate is visible: 731 QRV. Approximately twenty minutes after they left, a man identifying himself as Forest Service telephoned him, hostile in tone. He told the caller this was intimidation and retaliation on the anniversary of his dismissal from Oregon State Parks. On March 27 he called that number back to request the names and contact information of all three men. The caller refused, and hung up when told the call was being recorded. Filed as an official Forest Service record by the volunteer the visit was directed at.

Where the Name Comes From.

Once upon a time there was an imaginary world called Final Fantasy Record Keeper. And in that world, everything that ever was existed in a library. And the library was divided into realms, one for every one there had ever been, and hung along the walls of each realm were the records of what had happened in it. And every record was a painting you could walk into.

A record fades when no one keeps it.
